It has spines on its back, so red they look like burning flames. When the Bright Spiked Dragon gather at night and start running around, the field looks like it's filled with torches lit up for a celebration. This is why they are regarded as the symbol of harvest. After their natural habitat was invaded by ferocious dragons, the Bright Spiked Dragon fell in number and are now being cared for by Laedis Academy. They are now even given as rewards for the Dragon Tournament.
